This Privacy Policy describes how Discursive OÜ (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Postavenue.
Postavenue is a ranked feed of public X posts submitted by their authors. Signing in requires an X account. Interactions you make in Postavenue (like, bookmark, comment, repost) are also sent to X under your linked account.

Information we collect
Account and profile
When you sign in with X we store:
- Your Postavenue user id, display name, email (if provided), and profile image
- Your public X user id and username
- Session data needed to keep you signed in
We do not store your X password. Access tokens used to act on your behalf are stored securely and are not included in data exports.
Content you submit
- Posts you pin to an avenue (text, media URLs, category, timestamps, ranking counts)
- Comments you write in Postavenue
- Likes, bookmarks, and reposts you perform in the app
Credits
We store your credit balance and a history of earn/spend events so ranking and posting costs can be applied fairly.
Technical data
We automatically collect limited log data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) needed to operate, secure, and debug the service. If you accept cookies, we may also use first-party analytics (for example Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage.
How we use your information
- Provide the feed, ranking, credits, and posting features
- Sync likes, bookmarks, comments, and reposts to your linked X account
- Keep you signed in and protect the service against abuse
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data.
Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract: creating an account, showing the feed, submitting posts, applying credits
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement
- Consent: non-essential analytics cookies
- Legal obligation: responding to lawful requests and keeping records where required
Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the service:
- X: interactions and posts you choose to publish or sync
- Infrastructure providers: hosting, database, email, and error monitoring, acting as processors under contract
- Legal: if required by law or to protect rights and safety
Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase or irreversibly anonymize personal data unless a legal obligation requires a short retention (for example security logs or pending legal claims).
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you can:
- Access a copy of your personal data (Settings → Privacy → Download my data)
- Correct inaccurate profile information
- Delete your account and associated personal data (Settings → Privacy)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw cookie consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate)

International transfers
Our processors may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
Postavenue is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be dated at the top of this policy.
